Paris was amazing, but alas, it’s time to move on.
This is the the Paris opera house — the Academie Nationale de Musique. It’s one of the more awe-inspiring buildings in a city full of them.
It’s impossible to visit a European city without photographing at least one really impressive fountain/statue.
These guys were on a street corner, jazzing it up. They were actually surprisingly good! You can’t see it in this picture, but they had a pretty decent crowd standing there watching them.
A very unfortunately named cafe. I can imagine the owner must have Office Space-style conversations on a regular basis. “Why should we change our name? They’re the ones who suck!”
Obligatory Notre Dame Cathedral shot.
I didn’t bother doing a post about it since I already posted about two other museums, but I also visited the Musée d’Orsay, which is housed in a former train station, making it pretty distinctive.
This is the restaurant in the Musée d’Orsay. Maybe the fanciest-looking restaurant I’ve ever been in (the food was fine, but nothing too memorable).
I have no idea what this building even was, I just liked the way it looked.
And last but definitely not least, here’s the Arc de Triomphe, which is insanely impressive in person.
