What to Do / Eat in Porto, Portugal

Riding the subway – There are a couple of things that make riding the subway in Porto a bit odd.

Taylor’s Port Cellar – You’re probably going to want to try port wine while you’re in Porto.  You can learn about port wine and then try a couple of glasses at Tayor’s, one of the more well known producers of the stuff.

Cafe Santiago – There’s a sandwich in Portugal called the francesinha that’s essentially a sloppy mess of eggs, cheese, meat, and gravy.  It’s great.

O Zé Pacheco – I got a pork sandwich at the Porto Food Festival from a restaurant called O Zé Pacheco, and holy crap, it was so good.
