McDonald’s in Jordan is basically the opposite of what you’ll find in India. India was a veritable cornucopia of quirky menu oddities. Here, on the other hand, all they have are the usual suspects (Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, etc.). There’s a couple of different burgers and chicken sandwiches on the menu, but nothing particularly interesting.
The only thing that stood out was the Strawberry Custard Pie, which was quite similar to the Apple Custard Pie from McDonald’s in Japan.
I wasn’t crazy about that one, and I was even less enthused about this one. The biggest problem is the custard: it doesn’t have much (if any) of a custardy flavour. It’s basically just sweet, creamy goo.
And the strawberry filling just adds a generic, sweet fruitiness. The whole thing is fine, but it doesn’t add up to much.
