What to Do / Eat in Siem Reap, Cambodia

DO

Angkor Wat – I mean, duh.  If you’re in Siem Reap, odds are this is the reason for your trip.  Its amazing.

EAT

Banh Chao – This street food vendor near my hotel happened to be serving up some tasty noodles.

Fish curry – I found this place by randomly wandering around; it was popular, so it might be okay, but I definitely don’t recommend the fish curry.

Lucky Burger – Cambodia is the rare country that doesn’t have a McDonald’s — they do, however, have Lucky Burger.  Alas, it’s not great.

Num pang – This is Cambodia’s version of the banh mi, and it’s quite tasty.

Street food noodles – The internet isn’t a great resource for finding tasty local food in Siem Reap, but if you wander around, you’ll find stuff that’s good.
