What to Eat in Prague, Czech Republic

Chimney Cones – This is one of those things that’s basically just for tourists.  It’s fine?

McDonald’s – Fried cheese and a tasty sundae?  Yeah, McDonald’s in the Czech Republic is pretty good.

Naše Maso – This is a great butcher shop that can grill up some high quality sausages.

U Fleků – This brewpub is hundreds of years old, and serves some seriously delicious beer.  They also have pickled cheese, which is weird but tasty, and a really tasty dish called svíčková na smetaně.

U Kocoura – If you’re looking for a meal near Prague Castle, you could do worse than U Kocoura.

U Rudolfina – They serve the Czech version of goulash here, which is all meat, no veggies.

Václavsky Gril – This stand in Wenceslas Square sells cheap (by the standards of the area, at least) sausages.
