Well, that’s that for Thailand. So here comes the usual assortment of photos.
This is Wat Traimit, which is right near Chinatown in Bangkok.
There was a vendor in the parking lot of Wat Traimit selling these things, which had an eggy banana filling surrounded by crispy pastry. It was also drizzled with condensed milk. Really tasty.
This is the king of Thailand. There were photos of him everywhere in Bangkok.
Look at this magnificent vat of pork hocks. This was at the Pier 21 food court in Bangkok.
Of course I had to get a plate. They were a bit stingy with the pork, but it was quite tasty.
Here’s Wat Saket, also known as the Golden Mount. You could go up there and get a pretty great view of the city.
Here’s a video of the view. Bonus: they were playing some prerecorded audio over the loudspeakers recorded by Thai Morgan Freeman.
A bunch of monks hanging out.
