I wasn’t particularly planning on revisiting Uncle Bean, but it was right there. It’s delicious. Why not?
I tried the tofu pudding last time — and it was very good — so this time I figured I’d try their soy milk.
They have a big vat of this stuff on ice. When you order it, the guy puts some syrup in a cup, and then ladles in the soy milk.
It’s simple, but refreshing. The flavour is great, it’s just as sweet as it needs to be, and it’s super smooth. It’s a quality glass of soy milk, and just what the doctor ordered on a hot day (which is every day in Kuala Lumpur).

How to find it: It’s got a big yellow sign that says “Uncle Bean,” not to mention the huge vat of soy milk. You can’t miss it.
