Paphos Archaeological Park is easily one of the more memorable things I’ve seen recently. The park is absolutely massive, and is crammed with fascinating Roman ruins.
I don’t think I can overstate how huge this park is, and how packed it is with interesting stuff to see.
I spent a couple of hours wandering around, taking it all in, and I could have easily spent twice as much time. Everywhere you go, there’s another striking thing to see.
It’s basically just one interesting sight after another.
That’s not to mention the mosaics, many of which are surprisingly well preserved.
Bonus: entrance is only €4.50, which is amazingly cheap for how much there is to see here.
Location: Paphos, Cyprus
How to find it: Just head to the waterfront; you’ll see plenty of signs pointing the way.
