The room I’m staying in happens to have a great view of The Top, Penang’s tallest building. Apparently that building puts on an annual fireworks show for Chinese New Year.
Of course, I had no idea that this was going to happen, but the very loud explosions made it kinda hard to miss. I looked outside, saw a very impressive show, and then scrambled for my camera. I managed to capture the last minute or so of the fireworks:
