Lassi is an Indian yogurt drink that’s basically Yop, but about a billion times better.
At Lassiwala, they have two things on the menu: sweet or salty lassi. That’s it. It’s always good to do one thing, and to do it well.
And they do it quite well. It’s perfectly sweet, a little bit tart, and super creamy. There was also a little disc of slightly hardened yogurt on top; I’m not sure if that was intentional, but it was tasty regardless.
It’s a really simple drink. Lassi generally has some spices mixed in, but if that was the case here, it was very, very subtle. It’s basically just sweet yogurt, but it’s so well made that it really doesn’t matter.
