Octopus sandwich from Rosticceria Lo Sfizio del Borgo Antico
There were several vendors selling octopus sandwiches in the old area of Bari, so I figured I should probably try one. This was totally fine; the octopus was quite tender and tasty, but otherwise none of the flavours here particularly popped, and the bread was so aggressively crusty that it was difficult to bite through.
I’m not particularly a sports guy (and by “not particularly” I mean “not at all”), but if I were going to get into sports, I’d be watching baseball. It’s the only sport I can watch all the way through without getting completely bored.
So when I realized I could watch a baseball game here in Japan, I figured sure, why not.
If heaven exists, it probably looks something like the Nishiki Market in Kyoto: a seemingly endless street market filled with one vendor after another serving up delicious-looking food.
