It’s time to move on to another country, which means it’s time for a bunch of random photographs.
There was a Shake Shack around the corner from the theatre where I saw most of my movies during the LFF, so of course I tried it. People seem to really love it, so I’ll reserve judgment until I get to try the original location in New York, but I wasn’t impressed. It was marginally better than fast food joints like McDonald’s or Wendy’s, but otherwise it was nothing special.
Colourful buildings in Notting Hill.
It appears North Americans are the only ones who have to suffer through mushy baked McDonald’s pies like a bunch of stupid chumps.
I’d say about 99% of the time, the statues in Europe are of obscure historical figures you probably haven’t heard of. So when I see statues like this one of Churchill, it’s like, hey, I understood that reference!
I think this guy’s whole job is to sit on that horse looking serious.
I’m not even sure what this building was — I think it was a government building of some sort. Random impressive historical buildings are pretty much a dime a dozen in Europe.
Obligatory Westminster Abbey photo.
Speaking of obligatory…
Apparently it’s a thing in London to stick a Flake bar into soft serve ice cream cones. I approve.
Another random, impressive building.
