There’s a theme in the Fast Food Around the World posts so far: they all revolve around fried chicken. That makes sense. Everyone loves fried chicken.
Rocket Chicken is pretty no-frills. Most of the combos come with one piece of fried chicken, rice, and a drink, and they all cost somewhere in the ballpark of 10,000 IDR (about a buck Canadian).
My combo came with a fried chicken leg, rice, and an iced Milo. It cost 11,000 IDR.
It was quite enjoyable. There wasn’t anything particularly mind-blowing about it, but it was a solid piece of fried chicken, and the rice was fluffy and fresh. There was also a sweet chili sauce on the side that amped things up a bit.
For the price, it’s very hard to complain.
