I went to Disneyland Paris during my last visit to the city in 2017, and it was great (of course) as all Disney parks are.  It’s been several years, so I figured another visit was in order.

Disneyland Paris

The second park, Walt Disney Studios Park, has been improved since 2017 (with the notable addition of an Avengers-themed area), but is still probably the weakest Disney Park in the world.  There’s just not a ton to do or see here, and it’s hard to justify spending more than a few hours when Disneyland Park is right there.  Still, there is a Frozen land coming soon that will probably improve things (there was supposed to be a version of Galaxy’s Edge as well, but alas, that looks like it’s been cancelled).

The food was a notable weakness the last time I was here, and while the situation has definitely been improved (there’s a better variety of offerings, at the very least), nothing I ate over the two days I was there was too much better than okay.

Disneyland Paris

This includes a very expensive visit to Captain Jack’s, the restaurant that’s inside of Pirates of the Caribbean, with views of the ride vehicles as they sail by.  It was a neat experience, but the food was absolutely not worth what they were charging (45 Euros (!) for three courses).

Still, I guess you’re largely paying for the experience, and on that level it’s probably worth doing once.  It really does feel like you’re sitting on a patio outside at night, even though you’re actually inside and it’s still daylight outside.

Disneyland Paris

This post has been a bit nitpicky, but suffice it to say, Disneyland Paris is still thoroughly magical.  I spent two days there and could have easily spent a third (and fourth, and fifth…).
