Though Tombs of the Kings isn’t quite as amazing as the Archaeological Park, that’s really not even a fair comparison. It’s still absolutely worth a visit.
Tombs of the Kings features a series of tombs dating back to the fourth century BC, and like the Archaeological Park, it’s really fascinating to walk around.
Of course, it’s not quite as massive as the Archaeological Park, and the stuff you’ll see isn’t quite as varied (it’s all tombs), but it’s still pretty amazing.
I did both this and the Archaeological Park on my own with no guide — I just wandered around and took it all in. Even without context it was really interesting, though I’m sure if you have the budget/time for a guide, it would be even better.
Location: Tombs of the Kings Ave 63, Chloraka
How to find it: Like with the Archaeological Park, once you get nearby, there’s lots of signs to let you know where to go.
